Contract worker at Kumho Tire plant died after a 40-foot fall last month

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A contract worker has died after he fell 40-feet at the Kumho Tire Plant in Macon last month.

According to Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones, 19-year-old Luis Ramirez was walking across a ceiling walkway when he fell to the ground.  He has been at Medical Center, Navicent Health since November 19.

We’re told he died from a head injury.
