Two Coliseum health system branches recognized as top hospitals

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Georgia Trend released its 2015 Top Hospital List and two Coliseum hospitals made the top 20.

Coliseum Medical Centers in Macon was ranked #17 Medium-Sized on the Top Medium-Sized Hospitals list.

Coliseum Northside Hospital was ranked #8 on the Top Small Hospitals List.

“Access to healthcare services is one of the most important elements of a community. Middle Georgians can be proud that two of the best hospitals in the state are available right here in our community” said Coliseum Northside Hospital’s CEO Stephen Daugherty.

The data used to compile the rankings came from the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, including patient experience, outcomes of care, process of care, and efficiency and value of the services rendered.
