Overtyme Bar and Grill offers pre-thanksgiving lunch for those in need

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Owners at Overtyme Bar and Grill hosted their 3rd Annual “Taking Care of Each Other” pre-thanksgiving  community give back day.

Those in need were able to receive free haircuts, blood pressure screenings, dental and hygiene counseling and Thanksgiving lunch.

Each year nearly 150 people benefit from the event. Students at Central Georgia Technical College provide services along with the bar.

Founder of the event Charity Harris says, “Taking care of each other is the responsibility of each of us. As business owners in this neighborhood, we want to do our share.”
