Minors arrested in Macon home invasion

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Two minors were arrested for breaking into a home on Ayers Road in Macon, Tuesday.

According to a news release, the family arrived at their home around 2:30 p.m. and noticed it had been burglarized.

An investigation led deputies to the suspects.

They were arrested and charged with burglary and possession of a firearm by a minor. Deputies returned the stolen items to the victims.

The minors are being held in the Macon Regional Youth Detention Center.
