String of thefts in South Monroe County
On November 11th at approximately 11:30 a.m., a man wearing a gray hoodie, blue jeans, and brown boots entered the Country Oaks Feed Store. While the employees were assisting another customer, he took cash out of the unattended store register. The suspect’s vehicle is described as possibly being a black 2000-2004 model Nissan Sentra.
On November 13th, more than $40,000 of lawn equipment was taken from Cutting Edge Landscaping.
On November 14th at approximately 4:50 a.m., the Marathon Gas Station on U.S. 41 was burglarized. The suspects took cigarettes from the station.
