Macon man shot, suspects steal victim’s car
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man was shot and robbed Wednesday night. The shooting and armed robbery happened around 11:20 p.m. in the 2300 block of Lincoln Street.
According to a news release, 49-year-old Webster Johnson was standing outside of his car when he was approached by two armed masked men. The suspects demanded money and Johnson ran. Johnson was shot once in the leg and the men took his car.
Johnson was taken to a local hospital for his injuries. He is listed in stable condition.
