Macon construction worker hit by car

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A car swerved and hit a construction worker working on the side of the road in Macon Thursday night.

Lewis Rodriguez Jimenez went to the hospital and is doing fine.

He was working in the southbound lane of Forest Hill Road near Oak Hill Court.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says deputies will look for a silver or gray Nissan sedan, possibly a Maxima or an Altima.

It has passenger side damage, including a missing side mirror.
