Forsyth police investigating motel armed robbery

FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Police officers in Forsyth are investigating an armed robbery at a motel that happened late Monday night.

Chief Keith Corley says an armed suspect tackled the front desk clerk at the Tradewinds Motel.

“The clerk couldn’t tell what the suspect looked like, but was able to figure out that it was a man based off of his voice,” Corley said.

Officers haven’t arrested anyone in connection to this case and are still looking for a suspect who got away with cash.
