Two teens shot in Macon, one in critical condition
The Sheriff's Office says deputies responded to the 1100 block of Carlisle Avenue around 9:30 p.m. When they arrived, deputies found a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound.

UPDATE:
The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office was notified that the victim in the Carlisle Avenue aggravated assault incident on July 15, 2022, died from his injuries.
The Bibb County Coroner’s Office stated that 17-year-old Tyreek Demontez Young, of Macon, was pronounced deceased at 4:00 p.m. Saturday afternoon.
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)— The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an Aggravated Assault, after two teenagers were shot Friday night.
The Sheriff’s Office says deputies responded to the 1100 block of Carlisle Avenue around 9:30 p.m.
When they arrived, deputies found a 17-year-old male with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the Atrium Health Navicent, and is listed in critical condition.
A 18-year-old male was with the 17-year-old, and he sustained a gunshot wound to the lower leg. The 18-year-old is in stable condition.
The Sheriff’s Office says there is no information on a suspect at this time.
