Bibb deputies investigate robbery at Yellow Cab Office

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating an armed robbery that took place at the Yellow Cab Office on Broadway in Macon around 1:24 a.m., Thursday.

According to a news release, an armed masked man demanded the office clerk to open the front door. The clerk refused and the suspect kick the door in.

The accused thief then demanded money. When the clerk told the suspect there was no money in the office, he grabbed her purse and fled the scene.

He was last scene wearing a black shirt, black shorts and a ski mask.

The office clerk was treated by paramedics for a a cut received by broken plexi-glass of the door.
