Armed robber escapes with cigarettes from Macon gas station

Macon, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies are looking for a armed robber who stole cigarettes from a Macon gas station.

According to a news release, a masked man walked into the “Friendly Gus” gas station at 4845 Ocmulgee East Boulevard, with a plastic bag around as if he has a weapon, and demanded money.

After the store clerk refused to help the suspect, he filled a box with cigarettes. Then, he fled the scene towards a nearby Subway restaurant.
