Bibb deputies investigating East Macon murder

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Someone shot and killed a man outside the Red Carpet Inn Motel on Jeffersonville Road on Friday.

Bibb deputies say 29-year-old Brandon Harris from Chicago and 27-year-old Riley Jackson from Macon were walking into a gas station next to the motel when someone shot them. Both were taken to the hospital.

Harris died and Jackson is in stable condition.
