Crawford County schools names new superintendent

According to board chairman Raymond Dickey, the board appointed Brent Lowe as the next superintendent. He was offered the job during Monday’s school board meeting.

Dickey says the three year contract starts on September 1. Lowe’s salary will be $110,000 before the six required furlough days. He will also be required to live in Crawford County.

Lowe is currently the assistant superintendent of Pulaski County schools.

Dickey says they are excited for him to join and lead the district.
