Armed suspect robs several Middle Georgia convenience stores
FORSYTH, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Middle Georgia law enforcement agencies are looking for a man investigators believed robbed several convenience stores across the area.
According to the Monroe County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to an armed robbery in progress at the Marathon gas station on Johnstonville Road Wednesday around 8:30 a.m. The suspect ran away before deputies got there.
The suspect was wearing black clothing with a blue bandana covering his face.
Monroe investigators believe the suspect is responsible for similar armed robberies in Perry, Macon, and possibly Fort Valley over the past few days.
