Elderly woman found dead outside of retirement home

MAOCN, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating the death of a 92-year-old woman.

According to a news release, the body Lucille Brown was found at the bottom of an embankment behind John Wesley Villas on Thomaston Road around 4:30 a.m., Friday.

Brown was a resident of the Villas. A caretaker checked on her around 2:00 a.m. and she was in her room. Then, the caretaker checked back later and she was missing.

Brown suffered from dementia. She was pronounced dead at the scene.
