Bibb County Sheriff’s Office K-9 dies
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of its K-9 unit dogs.
According to a news release, Keelo passed away in his sleep at his handler, Investigator Anthony Freeman’s home.
Keelo was a narcotics detection dog purchased from the South Georgia K-9 by the Macon Police Department in 2008 and joined the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office after the government consolidation.
Keelo’s final arrangements are being handled by Hart’s Petuary at 6324 Peake Road.
Keelo was 9-years-old.
