Georgia dentists offer free dental clinic

PERRY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Georgia dentists are donating their time to provide free dental care to patients this weekend.

The dentists are providing the care through the Georgia Mission of Mercy project, an outreach program of the Georgia Dental Association and its Foundation of Oral Health. Basic dental services will be offered to low and no-income adults, including cleanings, fillings, and extractions. Organizers expect to help 2,000 adults.

The free dental clinic is Friday, June 19 and Saturday, June 20 at the McGill Marketplace Building at the Georgia National Fairgrounds. Doors open at 5 a.m. on both days. Patients will be helped on a first come, first serve basis.
