Bibb County deputies search for convenience store burglar
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A burglar alarm alerted Bibb County Sheriff’s deputies to a convenience store robbery.
It happened around 5 a.m., Thursday at Walthall Convenience store located at 4433 Forsyth Road, according to a Bibb County Sheriff’s office news release.
“When deputies arrived they found a side window had been knocked out of the window frame,” continued the release. “Deputies checked the building but the suspect(s) had fled from the store.”
Two empty cash drawers and a lottery ticket were stolen from the store.
Investigators do not have a description of the suspect(s).
