Man shot at in South Macon
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A Macon man was shot at while sitting in his car in front of a friend’s house, that’s according to the Bibb County Sheriff’s Office.
33-year-old Robert Williams told deputies he was dropping off his girlfriend at a house on Chappell Street when 4 to 5 guys, two armed and dressed in all black, approached his car. One of the men tried to open Williams’ car door before he drove off.
Williams says he heard a gunshot hit the back of his car. His two children were in the car with him at the time.
Minutes before the incident, two men showed up to the house with guns. 53-year-old Lorenzo Poole says the men opened his screen door then fled the scene. Poole says he heard a gunshot after the men left.
