Man arrested for armed robbery at Warner Robins restaurant

According to the police department, 42-year-old Leroy Wilson III walked up to an employee of Smokes 2 Bar and Grill around 9:30 a.m. with a gun. Officers say at some point the gun was fired, but no one was injured.

Investigators say Wilson ran across the road and climbed over several fences before officers caught him on Amber Drive.

Wilson is charged with armed robbery, aggravated assault, entering auto, criminal damage, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
