Bibb Sheriff’s deputy arrested for simple battery

26-year-old Timothy Jones was charged with simple battery-family violence. Authorities went to his house Friday morning for a domestic dispute call.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s website says he was released Saturday on a $3,940 bond. Jones is suspended pending an internal investigation.
