Two Warner Robins teens return home after shooting on Alma Avenue

WARNER ROBINS, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The two teens who were shot at on Alma Avenue in Warner Robins on Wednesday have returned home.

Both victims tell 41NBC they were standing in the street when they heard gunshots and ran away.

The 16 year-old boy was taken to the hospital for a gunshot wound to his leg. Nineteen year-old Diaquaveous Young was treated for scrapes and scratches. Both say they live on Alma Avenue and don’t know who fired the gun.

Investigators are using 3D cameras to take pictures of the scene to help with their investigation.

The shooting happened Wednesday around 4:00 p.m. A news release from the Warner Robins Police Department says a large group of people was standing in the street on the 1300 block of Alma Avenue. At some point, multiple people started shooting. Investigators are trying to figure out what the group was doing before shots were fired and who pulled the trigger.

No arrests have been made in the case.
