Gator on the loose in Montezuma
MONTEZUMA, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)—The Montezuma Police Department has a warning for families who live in the Cole Pond area. According to a post on the Montezuma Police Department’s Facebook Page, officers were dispatched to the Washington Street area in reference to an Alligator.
The post goes on to say the department has contacted the DNR to check the pond.
Police advise parents make sure their children stay away from the area.
