Student sexually assaulted in Fort Valley

FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Fort Valley Police Department is investigating a sexual assault case involving a Fort Valley State University student. 

Public Safety Director Lawrence Spurgeon tells 41NBC the incident happened around 4:30 a.m. Thursday morning off-campus. The university e-mailed students Thursday morning urging them to exercise caution when they’re out in the city.
