Man forces his way into ex-girlfriend’s apartment
According to the Bibb County Sheriff’s office, 31-year-old Rinaldo Dewayne Callaway forced his way into his ex-girlfriend, Nickisia Sheyka’s apartment.
The incident happened around 2:00 a.m. Monday at 399 Plantation Way in west Bibb.
Once inside, Callaway forced his way into a room where Sheyka, her 18-year-old son, and two of his friends were hiding.
Callaway demanded that Sheyka take him to his mother’s house. The teens stalled the couple and Callaway snatched the keys out of the ignition and ran.
Deputies found him at a nearby apartment building. While waiting to be taken to the Bibb County Jail, Callaway damaged two patrol cars by kicking the bars covering the windows of the vehicles.
Callaway is charged with kidnapping, criminal damage to property, robbery by snatching, two counts of cruelty to children in the 3rd degree, two counts of interference with government property, simple battery, willful obstruction of law enforcement officers, battery family violence, and criminal trespass.
