Man shot at abandoned car wash dies in emergency room
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Bibb County Sheriff’s investigators want to know who shot a man at an abandoned car wash.
19-year-old Marquis Reginald Lowe, of Macon, died at Coliseum hospital’s emergency room, according to a Bibb County news release.
The fatal shooting happened Saturday around 6:30 p.m. at the corner of Main Street and Jones Avenue.
Investigators are not releasing information on how Lowe made it to the emergency room.
He was pronounced dead by hospital doctors. His family was notified by Bibb County Coroner Leon Jones.
According to a Bibb County Sheriff’s spokesperson, Lowe was arrested in January of 2014 and charged with theft by taking.
