Bibb School Board changes Hutchings College and Career Academy to a program

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb School Board changed Hutchings College and Career Academy from a high school to a program during its meeting Tuesday night.

The school will focus on its career-prep courses and offer students general education programs through duel-enrollment with Central Georgia Technical College.

More than 200 current full-time students will return to their assigned district schools next year. The school will also move to the Promise Center on Anthony Road.
