Perry restaurant serves pizza to less fortunate
Little Caesars Love Kitchen stopped by the Memorial Heights Baptist Church Tuesday morning on a mission.
“[To] travel throughout the country and provide hot meals to those in need,” Leatha Camp, the owner of the Little Caesars in Perry said.
Dozens of people lined up alongside the large truck to get a slice. The owners of the Perry Little Caesars says this is their way of giving back to the community.
“We’re very happy to be here and we like to put some smiles on people’s faces by feeding them some good pizza,” Chris Camp, the owner of the Little Caesars in Perry said.
The restaurant donated 70 pies. Everyone walked away with hot pizza and full stomachs. The church’s pastor adds each slice fed their bodies, minds, and souls.
“It’s our joy to be a part of this,” Lewis Kiger, the pastor of Memorial Heights Baptist Church said. “It is our delight to not only share this food for these people, but also to take a few minutes to share with them the glorious gospel of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.”
The Little Caesars Love Kitchen is traveling throughout the Peach State. Since 1985, it has fed nearly three million people across the country and in Canada. It helps meet the needs of the hungry, the homeless, and disaster survivors.
