Organizing tips to help you eat healthy
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – It is February and by this time of the year, you may not be doing so well with your New Year’s resolution. If you wanted to eat healthier this year, professional organizer Andi Willis shares some tips to help you stay on track.
Willis says if you organize your food, time, and kitchen it will make eating healthy easier. The first thing you want to do is put all your healthy food together, for example put fruit on the counter and have a basket of approved snacks.
She suggests using matching, stackable plastic containers for storing cut vegetables and fruit so you can grab it and go.
Willis also says you should plan your meals. Keep a board in your kitchen to write your menu plans, keep a calendar, and also use a grocery list.
She adds you should plan how you put things in your kitchen. For example, if you are going to juice, keep your blender on the counter or in a cupboard that is easy to get to.
