Restaurant Report Card: 3 Countries

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – “The food is delicious, you’ve got several choices,” said 3 Countries Restaurant customer Alfredo Daniel.

We’ve got a triple threat of choices this week.

“The people are so friendly,” said Daniel.

And it isn’t an easy pick–it’s all good.

But first, a restaurant that needs to step it up this week.

Papa’s Wings and Deli at 919 Pio Nono Avenue in Macon scored a 68.

An employee switched from prepping raw chicken to prepping ready to eat food, the designated hand washing sink for employees wasn’t working, and there was a pink mold-like buildup in the ice machine.

A little gem in the heart of Macon that’s made a 100? 3 Countries Restaurant.

“And you need to fill the place up–people don’t know about it,” said customer Cathy Sanderson.

You may not know about it, but you’re about to find out.

“Service is good, and it’s very reasonable, you’re not going to get lunch like this anyplace else in town,” said Sanderson.

International food–la comida internacional.

And add in a perfect health inspection to three already great types of food? Yeah.

“The effort they put into making the environment that is clean, and people feel satisfied and safe,” said Daniel.

You can safely feel satisfied this week because 3 Countries is making the grade.
