Lizella Teen Arrested for Theft

A Lizella teenager is arrested for stealing dozens of items and selling them at local pawn shops. 18 year old John Durham Hancock Jr. is charged with 2 counts of felony theft by deception, and 1 count of felony theft by taking. Hancock had been arrested on February 16th, after stealing a playstation. He was released on bond the next day. As police continued to investigate, they found several stolen items at local pawn shops that Hancock had sold. He turned himself into Macon Police today. Hancock is also being investigated for theft in Crawford and Houston Counties as well.
