Man steals cash from Macon seafood market

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A man with a gun stole money from CC Wings & Fish Seafood Market on Houston Avenue in Macon.

It happened at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday. The man told everyone in the store to get down on the ground.

Authorities say he hit customer in the head as he or she was trying to get down. The suspect stole the money and ran away toward St. James Avenue.

The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office says he was wearing a black coat, blue jeans and black shoes with white shoe strings. He also appeared to have lime green and gray gloves on.

Video surveillance footage shows he was about six feet tall.

The customer who was hit in the head was treated at the scene for the injury.
