Steve Harvey donates turkeys to Middle Georgia residents

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A renown comedian and national radio and television talk show host is making some local residents Thanksgiving special.

Steve and Majorie Harvey foundation purchased more than 100 turkeys from the Macon Sam’s Club.

“On behalf of Sam’s Club, we’d like to thank the Steve Harvey and Marjorie Foundation for partnering with us here at Sam’s Club to be able to give to the less fortunate here in the community,” says Sam’s Club General Manager, Derrick Jordan.

Radio station Blazin 92.3 FM personalities were at store to hand out the turkeys to residents for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Harvey foundation is scheduled to purchase an additional 100 turkeys from Sam’s Club, Wednesday.
jordan says those turkeys will also be given away if the store can handle the large order.

The Harvey Foundation mission is to provide outreach to fatherless children and young adults, by promoting educational enrichment, one-on-one mentoring and initiatives that will cultivate the next generation.
