Middle Georgia Town Looking to Expand
A small middle Georgia town is looking to expand.
Culloden, located in Monroe County, is less than a square mile, but local officials want to make it bigger.
According to the city’s mayor, some people who live right outside Culloden’s borders consider themselves part of the community,
and he’s ready to make it official. City leaders have sent a notice to the Middle Georgia Regional Commission seeking help in coming up with an expansion plan.
It’s estimated that the expansion could add 50 to 75 people.
