Affinity Personal Care Resident Arrested on Murder Charges

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT)- Bibb County Sheriff’s Office has made an arrest for the Saturday night murder of 67-year-old Ronnie Collins.

26-year-old Diaz Gholston was charged with murder and is being held without bond at the Bibb County Jail.

Both Collins and Gholston lived at the Affinity personal care home at 1934 Jeffersonville Road.

Deputies first responded to the house for an aggravated assualt.

Collins was found and taken to the hospital where we was pronounced dead.
