GBI arrests man for allegedly lying and covering up evidence in a homicide
FORT VALLEY, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) -The Georgia Bureau of Investigation arrested a man over the weekend for his alleged involvement in a recent fort valley homicide case.
Brandon Davidson, 22, was taken into custody following an interview with GBI investigators. Davidson is charged with making false statements and tampering with evidence. GBI Special Agent Joseph Ricketson says Davidson is facing felony charges. He was arrested on Friday.
According to Ricketson, Davidson was one of the people hosting the Block party at Olde English apartment complex where hundreds of guest showed up.
Demontarius Lewis was shot and killed in the parking lot and 21-year-old Darrell Cullens was struck by a hit and run driver.
Davidson was released from the Peach County jail Sunday on a $5,700 bond.
GBI Special Agent Ricketson says the investigation is “on-going.”
