Former animal shelter volunteer indicted by grand jury
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – A former Macon Purrs -N- Paws volunteer has been indicted by a Bibb County Superior Court Grand Jury.
Deborah Scott is formally charged with second degree burglary, aggravated cruelty to animals, and eight counts of cruelty to animals.
Scott is accused of breaking into the Rocky Creek Road animal shelter on July 27.
She is also accused of maliciously failing to provide care for a cat that was found dead in her Dewey Street home.
