Bragg taking skills to Robins Regional Chamber
President and CEO April Bragg is leaving her position to head up Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce. Bragg has been the president of Milledgeville-Baldwin County Chamber of Commerce for three years.
“I truly found my calling professionally,” she says. “I can’t imagine from here on out, ever having a career that doesn’t specifically involve community and economic development.”
She has lived in Milledgeville for 18 years. She and her husband of 14 years, Terry Bragg have two children, Abi, 8, and Drew, 6.
Bragg has worked with several organizations to help move the county forward. She is taking her experience to her new position at robins regional chamber of commerce.
“I see Robins Regional Chamber of Commerce, as a tremendous place to continue to to stay and serve in Middle Georgia,” she added. “But, also an opportunity to expand our reach both personally and professionally.”
Bragg says the key to her success is getting to know the people who live and work in Baldwin County and she will use that same work ethic in Warner Robins.
“I will continue to value relationships and remember the tremendous, importance of strategic communication,” she added.
Bragg will remain in Milledgeville for three more weeks. She describes one of her major accomplishments while working in Milledgeville as….
“Helping to develop, shape and refine, the brand and image not only of the Millegeville-Baldwin Chamber but also of our community,” says Bragg.
Her start date as President and CEO of Robins Regional Chamber is Nov. 17.
