Macon traffic accident hospitalizes 1

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a traffic accident that sent one woman to the hospital Friday.

According to a news release, 56-year-old Ruth Holt was driving east on Walnut Street when she was struck at the intersection of Walnut Street and Spring
Street.
  
According to witnesses, 63-year-old Joseph Hampton ran a red light then collided with Holt and then a truck.

Holt was taken to the hospital, Hampton was charged with failure to stop at the red light.
