Man Shot at Macon Food Mart

Macon police respond to a shooting at the M & M Food Mart on Montpelier Avenue shortly after 1am this morning.

A 22 year-old man from Macon was shot several times in the lower back and leg.

The victim told officers that four unknown black males in a white Lincoln drove up, shot him and then drove off.

He refused to identify himself, but officers learned his identity when he was taken to the hospital. He had surgery and is expected to survive.
