UPDATE: Bibb deputies investigating late night shooting
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting that happened late Wednesday night on Ash Street.
According to a news release, 22-year-old Glenwood Van Lee Lamar shot multiple times during argument around 11:20 p.m. Deputies say the suspect, 18-year-old James Jereal Watson, then ran away from the scene.
The sheriff’s office says Watson turned himself into authorities at the Bibb County Law Enforcement Center around 12:30 Thursday morning.
Lamar was sent to the hospital. He is listed in stable condition.
Watson is charged with aggravated assault.
