Dozens of jobs slated to be cut in Bibb Schools; principals head to new schools

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – Dozens of jobs at Bibb County Schools are getting cut, and new principals are heading to new schools next school year. 

Most of the cut positions are ones that were funded with grant money which is scheduled to end at the end of the year. According to school officials, most of the employees who are getting cut are being considered for other positions in the district. 

Several principals are headed to new schools including…Steve Jones, who’s headed to Northeast High. Kent Sparks, who’s headed to Rutland, and Emmanuel Frazier, who’s going to Central.
