Filmmakers Compete to Spotlight Macon
Filmmakers are getting competitive over Macon. Today organizers with “The Gateway Initiative” announced Macon Shorts. This is a new short-film competition where filmmakers are encouraged to make ten minute films featuring locations from Macon. This is “The Gateway Initiative’s” latest project to bring attention to Middle Georgia.
“It’s about promoting the best assets of the Macon community outside of Macon,” explained Beth Dunwoody, Gateway Initiative Director.
Organizers say filmmakers are already claiming their territory at various locations around town. For more information call (478) 750-0408.
