Foreclosure rates down in Macon area according to reports
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The foreclosure rate in Macon is going down, an improvement from last year.
That’s according to a recent report from the research company CoreLogic.
The foreclosure rate in the Macon area is at 1.10% down at about one and a quarter percent from this time last year
The rate is also two percent lower than the national average.
The site credits the improving economy for allowing more homeowners to be in a position to make their payments.
