Macon Police Search For Driver Who Fled Accident Scene

Macon Police are searching for a driver who fled the scene of an vehicle accident on foot Friday. Jami Gaudet of the Macon Police Department says officers were called to the scene of an accident on Napier Avenue about 6:40 pm.

A 33-year-old male was traveling east on Napier Avenue on a motorcycle when he crashed into a silver Ford Taurus that attempted to cross Napier Avenue at Robinson Road.

The driver of the Taurus exited the vehicle and fled on foot. The motorcycle rider was taken to the Medical Center of Central Georgia by ambulance with non-life threatening injuries.
