Missouri Man Arrested in Macon Meth Lab

A Missouri man is arrested over the weekend for manufacturing a Macon meth lab.

27-year old Darrell Porter was arrested Sunday afternoon after deputies discovered him in the process of cooking meth at 113 Phillips Drive. According to Lieutenant Jimmy Black of the Jones County Sheriff’s Department, they have been investigating Porter for about a week.

Porter is charged with one felony count of manufacturing methamphetamine and is currently being held at the Jones County Jail.
