Man shot on Bloomfield Road

MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault incident that happened early Monday morning in the 5000 block of Bloomfield Road.

According to a news release, a 18-year old male was walking home around 4 a.m. when he heard gunshots and a car drive by. He was shot once and taken to the hospital where he is in stable condition.

The victim was unable to give a description of the vehicle.
