Warner Robins Not a “City of Ethics” Yet

Warner Robins City Council members were not all in agreement Tuesday when it came to a code of ethics.

Councilman Tom Simms says Mayor Chuck Shaheen and the council members are just not clicking. According to Simms, personal issues are causing major projects to slow down.

“There’s no communication between the councilmen and they say there’s communication and that’s our issue, but it’s not. I’m sorry to say this but if we want to be a city of ethics, we’ve got a lot of work in front of us.”

Out of the nearly 540 cities in Georgia, roughly 220 of those qualify to be a city of ethics.
