Law Enforcement Center Goes to RDA

Warner Robins City Council members chose a firm to build the new law enforcement center on Tuesday.

The councilmen voted on a resolution to transfer the LEC project to the Redevelopment Agency of Warner Robins.

Councilman Bob Wilbanks says the council voted to build the LEC last January, but no further action went into it after that.

“Here we are 14 months later it has not been done, this thing has been stalled…from just about every direction you can do that and we’ve moved that over to the RDA and that building is going to get built.”

The passing of the resolution means the property purchased for the center will be given to the RDA.
