Shots Fired at Car with Two Adults, One Toddler Inside
MACON, Georgia (41NBC/WMGT) – The Bibb Sheriff’s Office is investigating an aggravated assault incident after a suspect fired shots at a car with three people inside including a toddler.
According to a news release, 32-year-old Keya Nighton of Macon along with a man known as “Jermane” and a three-year-old female child were leaving the residence at 462 Cynthia Avenue around 2:00 a.m. Monday. That’s when deputies say an unknown person fired several shots at Nighton’s 1999 Nissan Maxima.
Her car was hit several times, but no one was injured.
Investigators are interviewing witnesses and reviewing evidence to try to identify the suspect.
